He holds a Master's degree in Pacific International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor's degree in physics from Wesleyan University.  He enjoys budgets and spreadsheets, but hopes also to teach several subjects and is currently enrolled in the Master's of Teaching program at Western New Mexico University. 

Harry lives with his wife, Chris, and their two sons, Avery and Willy, in a log cabin and a strawbale addition within the Gila National Forest north of Pinos Altos.
